Gallery of Global Photography online exhibit

Check out the Gallery of Global Photography, (http://galleryglobal.wordpress.com) created by the faculty and students of the URI Harrington School of Communication and Media.

This stunning visual treasure trove of photographs from all five continents captures the remarkable cultural and geographic diversity on our planet. There are videos and interviews that feature the photographers who reveal the stories behind the creation of the photographs. Here we learn about the many ways in which international travel has had transformative, life-changing impact on students and faculty.

This project embodies the words of Wynn Bullock, one of the masters of American photography in the 20th century: "The urge to create, the urge to photograph, comes in part from the deep desire to live with more integrity, to live more in peace with the world, and possibly to help others to do the same."
