If you need a passport, consider going to this event!
The United States Postal Service (USPS) will have staff on the Kingston campus to process passport applications and renewals on Wednesday, November 14th between the hours of 11am -2pm. This is an opportunity for URI students, staff, and faculty to apply for their passports quickly and conveniently.
To help students with the expense associated with applying for a passport, the URI Office of International Education is offering to pay the passport application fee ($110 value) to the first 50 URI full-time, undergraduate students who apply for their passport at this event and have never held a passport before (renewals are not eligible). These applicants will only need to pay a $25 passport mailing fee to the USPS - in order to have their passport returned after to them after it is processed by the U.S. Passport Agency.
Students wanting to renew passports and faculty/staff wishing to apply for a passport may also bring along the items needed for their passport application and pay fees directly to USPS on Nov 14th. More information can be found at:

To be considered for the free passport offer, 1st time passport applicants (students) must complete and submit the "IEW Passport Giveaway Entry Form" to the Office of International Education by 3pm November 2nd, 2012.
