The Institute of International Education (IIE) is pleased to announce the launch of a new fellowship opportunity to support doctoral-level research in China.
The Confucius China Studies Program Joint Research Ph.D. Fellowship will accept applications beginning in late August of this year through the end of January, 2015 for awards to be granted beginning in fall of 2015. Eligible students will be enrolled in doctoral programs at US institutions in the arts, humanities, education, or social sciences with a focus on China.
Fellowship recipients will be funded for a period of at least six months to up to two years to conduct dissertation research at one of fifteen eligible institutions in China. Recipients will receive an annual living stipend of 80,000 RMB (approximately 12,900 USD), and an annual research stipend of 20,000 RMB (approximately 3,200 USD.)
