Next week is International Education Week at URI!
Initiated in 2000 by the U.S. Departments of State and Education, International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of global education, including the development of cross-cultural competencies and the exchange of people and ideas across borders.
In its 4th year at URI, the week-long celebration involves a variety of globally-themed activities and is dedicated to enhancing international awareness across campus, as well as supporting global learning opportunities at URI, regionally and abroad.
Please share the following activity highlights and the attached schedule with your students and colleagues! For event descriptions or questions, visit the IEW website or contact Kathleen Ramcharran at ramcharran@mail.uri.edu.
