Established by S. Emmanuel Epps and Lisa Robateau-Epps in 2013 to further enhance the Epps and Robateau families’ philanthropic commitment to furnishing educational opportunities for well-qualified students, poised to make significant contributions to their respective fields and society at-large, the Robateau-Epps Fund is dedicated to supporting the undergraduate and graduate education of students pursuing careers in fields in which minorities and/or women are underrepresented. The Robateau –Epps Fund is also committed to promoting the principles and practices of educational progressivism.
This year, we are proud that the recipient of the Robateau-Epps Fund's scholarship will receive a $10,000 award.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, students must meet all of the following criteria:
Be committed to pursuing a professional and/or academic career in a field in which minorities, i.e. African-American, Hispanic American, Native American, Asian-American, West-Indian, LGBTQ, and/or Jewish, and women are underrepresented.
Be classified as a Junior, or graduating Senior, currently enrolled full-time at a four-year accredited institution of higher education in the United States, pursuing a bachelor's during the 2013-2014 academic year; or currently enrolled full-time in a professional, e.g. MBA, or graduate program, e.g. Ph.D.
Meet the following requirements:

- Have a college grade-point average of at least a 3.5 or the letter-grade equivalent.
- Be pursuing full-time study during the 2013-2014 academic year.
- Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or U.S. permanent resident.
Preferences will be afforded to the following students:
- Students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
- Students who are first-generation college students.
- Students pursuing advanced graduate or professional degrees.
- Students matriculating at an HBCU institution.
