Fulbright Info Session - Tomorrow, 2/25, 5-6pm

Kevin Fomalont, a Fulbright Student Alumni Ambassador, will be on campus to make a general presentation open to all students on Tuesday, 2/25, from 5-6pm in Swan 305. He completed his Fulbright project in 2012-13 on early life stress and brain development at the Institute of Experimental Medicine in St. Petersburg, Russia -- and also completed advanced Russian language coursework at St. Petersburg State University thanks to an accompanying Critical Language Enhancement Grant.

Kathleen Maher, Asst. Director for National Fellowships at URI, will be running another info session in April for prospective Fulbright applicants this coming cycle, but this session will be a wonderful opportunity for any level student to learn more about the opportunities offered through Fulbright-- Kevin will discuss research/study grants (what he pursued), as well as English Teaching Assistantship grants. The Fulbright Program has partnerships in more than 140 countries worldwide.

Please see the event on Facebook for more information.

Fulbright is a wonderful post-graduation international opportunity, but takes advanced planning, so plan to attend the information session tomorrow!
