International Education Week at URI - Nov. 17-21!

Initiated in 2000 by the U.S. Departments of State and Education, International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of global education, including the development of cross-cultural competencies and the exchange of people and ideas across borders.

In its 4th year at URI, the week-long celebration involves a variety of globally-themed activities and is dedicated to enhancing international awareness across campus, as well as supporting global learning opportunities at URI, regionally and abroad
