U.S.-China Student Summit - Apply by Feb. 28

We believe passionately in expanding student perspectives through international exposure, and the U.S.-China Student Summit Experience in Beijing this spring is a truly unique opportunity to do it. For that reason, we are so pleased to announce that we have secured funding to offer double scholarships - not $500, but $1,000 – for students who qualify.

The U.S.-China Student Summit will bring together students from the U.S. and China to discuss the important issues of our international relationship and to create bonds of friendship that help us all see how much common ground we have. Before this 2-day event, students will travel with their peers to learn about Chinese history, visit Chinese companies, and engage in special cultural activities. Students can earn college credit just for participation, and can further build their resume by taking courses to earn up to 6 credits at Peking University, considered the “Harvard of China.” There are a couple of ways for your students to participate:

    * FORM A DELEGATION FROM YOUR SCHOOL!

Faculty and administrators from all over the U.S. are forming groups of students to explore China together as part of a 10-day experience, culminating at the 2-day Summit in Beijing as a delegation representing your school. It is not too late to get started. Contact us immediately at studentsummit@worldstrides.org .

    * JOIN THE WORLDSTRIDES DELEGATION

Students without a university delegation may join a WorldStrides delegation to travel with other individual students from all over the United States before the 2-day Summit in Beijing. Learn more here !
Our scholarship fund is limited, and need-based scholarships will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students must apply before February 28 to receive $1,000 in funds. Find more information on scholarships at www.chinastudentsummit.org/scholarships .

Questions? Call us today and we’ll help you get started forming your delegation!
